Day 01 – Manila/Madrid

Depart Manila on board a prestigious airline on your way to Madrid, Spain. Enjoy in-flight meals and services.

Day 02 – Madrid (D)

Welcome to Madrid! After airport formalities, meet and greet then transfer to your hotel for check in.

Day 03 – Madrid (B,D)

his morning, go on a half day city sightseeing tour of this beautiful city and see the Puerta Del Sol, Gran Via, Cibeles Fountain, Alcala Gate, the Santiago Bernabeau Stadium, Plaza De Espana, Prado Museum, Almudena Cathedral, highlighted by a visit to the Royal Palace. Balance of the day is free for shopping.

Day 04 – Madrid – Avila – Fatima (B,D)

After breakfast, drive to Avila – completely encircled by 11th century walls and birthplace of St. Theresa and visit the Convent of St. Theresa and the Cathedral. Continue cross border to Portugal, proceed to Fatima and check in hotel.

Day 05 – Fatima – Lisbon – Fatima (B,D)

Morning drive to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon – see the Tagus River, Marques de Pombal Square, Liberdade Avenue, pass by Belem Palace, official residence of the President of Portugal. Stop at Belem Tower – icon of the Age of Discovery, and the Monument of the Discoveries. Close by is Jeronimos Monastery, magnificent example of the Manueline style. See the Baixa, Praca De Commercio and the Suspension Bridge, and visit to the Church of St. Antony De Padua. Return to Fatima for some free time for private devotion. You may explore the Sanctuary and the Great White Basilica and maybe join the candlelight procession in the evening.

Day 06 – Fatima – Lisbon – Fatima (B,D)

Drive to Santiago de Compostela – a World heritage city. Upon arrival, proceed to guided city tour with visit to Santiago de Compostela Cathedral. Orientation tour includes Plaza del Obradoiro, Monasterio de San Martin Pinario, Convento de San Francisco, Fuente De Los Caballos and the Palacio de Raxoi. Check in to your hotel.

Day 07 – Santiago de Compostela – Burgos (B,D)

Long drive to Burgos, the provincial capital in Spain’s autonomous community of Castile and León. Its most recognizable landmark is the French Gothic Cathedral of St. Mary, whose 3 main doorways are flanked by ornamented bell towers. Inside is the Chapel of Condestable, decorated with figures of saints, and the Tomb of El Cid (Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar), the 11th century military commander, then visit the Burgos Gothic Cathedral. Check in to your hotel.

Day 08 – Burgos – Zaragosa – Lourdes (B,D)

The day is free for private devotion. You may wish to go to the Sanctuary to visit the Underground Basilica, walk the Station of the Cross, take the Holy Bath, or participate in the Veneration of the Sick Pilgrim. Tonight, why not join the emotive candlelight procession.

Day 09 – Lourdes (B,D)

The day is free for private devotion. You may wish to go to the Sanctuary to visit the Underground Basilica, walk the Station of the Cross, take the Holy Bath, or participate in the Veneration of the Sick Pilgrim. Tonight, why not join the emotive candlelight procession.

Day 10 – Lourdes – Barcelona (B,D)

Return to Spain on your way to Barcelona. Check in to your hotel upon arrival.

Day 11 – Barcelona (B,D)

Morning guided visit to the Montserrat Monastery to see the famous 12th century Romanesque carving of Virgin Moreneta, the Black Virgin. Afterwards, see the Plaza Espana, Plaza Real, Plaza Catalunya, Olympic Stadium, Christopher Columbus Monument, Arch of Triumph and photo stop at La Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Barcelona’s most famous landmark and Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece.

Day 12 – Barcelona – Manila (B)

Your memorable tour concludes with a transfer to the airport for your flight back to Manila.

Arrival in Manila. Home sweet home!
